Applications Invited for Grants To Reduce Alcohol Abuse in Secondary Schools

The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools is seeking applicants for its Grants To Reduce Alcohol Abuse Program. The announcement was published in the January 3, 2008, issue of the Federal Register.

The program provides grants to local educational agencies to develop and implement innovative and effective programs to reduce alcohol abuse in secondary schools.

The application deadline is February 19, 2008.
