NIJ Conference To Address Youth Issues

April 10, 2008

On July 21–23, 2008, in Arlington, VA, the Office of Justice Programs' National Institute of Justice (NIJ) will hold its annual conference. The conference will bring together criminal justice scholars, policymakers, and practitioners at the local, state, and federal levels to share the latest research findings and technology.

This year's conference includes a panel on youth gang research and best practices organized by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Other panel topics that may be of particular interest to JUVJUST subscribers include commercial sexual exploitation of children, school-based prevention programs, and bullying.

Conference registration is free, and early registration is recommended.
