OJJDP News @ a Glance snapshot

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of "OJJDP News @ a Glance," March/April 2009. The bimonthly newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, funding opportunities, and events.

This issue reports on OJJDP's participation in national conferences on child abuse prevention and juvenile justice. In addition, the newsletter details the more than $2.76 billion that the Office of Justice Programs will receive under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, including $50 million for OJJDP's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program and $97.5 million for its mentoring initiatives.
