Bureau of Justice Statistics. Comprehensive access to statistics on crime, victimization, and criminal offenders. Includes online versions of all BJS publications and a variety of data analysis tools.

FBI Uniform Crime Reports. National statistics on crime and victims from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting Program. Each year, the UCR Program collects monthly counts of arrests from thousands of law enforcement agencies. County-level estimates of arrests, based on UCR data, are prepared by the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data and are available at www.icpsr.umich.edu/nacjd.

NIBRS Hate Crimes 1995-2000: Juvenile Victims and Offenders. Provides access to and analysis of data from the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) on hate crimes reported between 1995 and 2000. Analysis focuses on hate crime incidents, victims, and offenders, with a special section devoted to hate crimes that occur at schools or involve religious or sexual orientation bias. The site presents tables and figures generated from NIBRS data. Datasets and codebooks are also available for download.
