Presents statistics on person offense cases processed by juvenile courts in 2005. Person offense cases accounted for 25 percent of all delinquency cases in 2005. The 2005 person offense caseload was 133 percent greater than in 1985. The majority of person offense cases involved charges of simple assault or aggravated assault. This Fact Sheet is based on the report Juvenile Court Statistics 2005.
